262 Mongolians returned from South Korea

A charter flight en route Seoul-Ulaanbaatar, bringing 262 Mongolian nationals, landed at Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport yesterday, July 28, at 5:05 pm.

Among the passengers, there were 25 pregnant women, 36 elderly people and their caregivers, 50 people with disabilities and health concerns, 41 families with small children and 110 people with other reasonable excuses.

Upon their arrival, the passengers have been directly put into 21-day mandatory isolation at National Center for Communicable Diseases, Central Military Hospital and “Amar” and “World Mongolia” hotels.

Since Mongolia’s border closure in prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic, a total of 14,755 Mongolian citizens returned from 45 countries to Mongolia by air and ground transports
